The introduction chat will take place on freenode (IRC).

Instructions for joining the chat:

1. To join chats on IRC there are two options:

A. Installing a chat client (a software programme) on your computer. You could install for example: mirc for windows / konversation or xchat for linux / LimeChat for Mac
B. Over your browser (Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, etc.) – You could use for example one of the ones suggested at: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Internet_Relay_Chat_clients

2. Connect to IRC

A) Choose a nickname:

Connect to freenode (e.g. on /server irc.ubuntu.com)

C) Join the channel #openEd
