A revision to the Module 5A1 Table 2 contributed by Carina following a conversation in the second Module 5A1 IRC chat session.

 Full log of the Introductory/First IRC Chat session for Module 5A1 (May 2011 presentation) held on 4 May at 7pm UK Time. Four participants were present and a further two were unable to make the session itself. We discussed the structure of the module, looked at the assessment criteria and the role of the forum in supporting discussion during the module.

This document deals with the difference between Glaser and Strauss approach.

It is postulated that individual cognition and social cognition are dynamic in nature. A concept of residual surrounding cognition was introduced in the article to develop relationship between individual cognition and social cognition.

The document describes the method of data collection and analysis in Grounded Theory including things to remember during data collection, types of interviews, how to plan for interview, scanning of documents and steps of analysis.
