openEd 2.0 is a FREE and OPEN course, which means that educational providers - like you - around the world are FREE in choosing to offer individual / extra services to the course participant.

Extra services that you might want to provide around this course could be for example: In-class lessons, private virtual support or marked assessment and accreditation / certification.

You can offer such extra services against moderate fees or for free and in accordance to your own terms and conditions.

1. Become a Partner and provide extra services

If you are interested in offering such extra services all you have to do is to go to the Extra Service Directory and register the services you would like to provide.

2. Does it cost me anything to become a partner?

No, there are no costs involved! To make this course (financially) sustainable we however kindly ask service providers to give something back to the course, like for example to provide basic facilitator support at the forums, or to help us maintaining and updating the course content.

 

3. How much can I charge for extra services?

You can charge as much as you consider being reasonable for the extra services you intend to provide. Once you register your extra services within the Extra Service Directory you are asked to provide information on the costs of such services.

 

4. Is there any training to get familiar with the course modules and the tools used?

Yes.

To get familiar with the course modules and the tools used just go to the learners’ guide on How to start studying? or take the introduction Module 0 on  An introduction to "How to learn with openED .

 

5. Are there any information and guidance for facilitators, like for example assessment guidelines?

Yes.
