|Submitting your work|
Each module has a number of activities and one assignment at the end:
We would encourage you to share the outputs of your activity on the Forum. You can attach the file/s to any post you make. Similarly, you can add to links to documents saved or stored elsewhere by pasting in a link to your forum posting. In the past we have asked participants to upload their activities to a separate area, however, adding them to the forum means they are right there in the midst of the discussion and therefore hopefully easier to find.
There is one assignment given in each module (apart from Module 0 where there is no assignment). Those studying the module will need to read the instructions about how to complete the assignment and the marking guide. Upon completion please submit your assignment to the Assignments Directory. The assignment builds on the activities in the module, however, if you are teaching using the openED materials you may decide to use an alternate assignment for your students.
It is really important that you upload your final assignment, and also use the forum to tell other people about it! If you worked with others on the assignment (for example in a group or on the forum) then each of you need to submit a separate version and also provide some details about who you were working with / how they helped in writing the assignment.
We would encourage all participants to try to review at least one other assignment. This peer assessment is really useful for you as well as for the other person. You can comment and rate any document listed in the Assignment Directory.
Because we believe it is important for participants to 'peer review' each others work, the openED will not undertake to mark or grade any assignment. However, if you are looking for marked-assessment and accreditation, be it nearby your place or virtual, then please take a look at the ‘Additional Service’ directory. openEd 2.0 is a FREE and OPEN course, which means that educational providers around the world are FREE to offer individual services to you (although unlike the openED course, they may charge for these services).
