The openEd 2.0 course allows for open and inclusive learning and provides novel ways to organize collaborative learning, sharing and knowledge production within a participatory web 2.0 world.

Traditionally, in formal education, students usually do not fully benefit from, and build upon, the achievements of previous cohorts of students. Additionally, enterprises and learners outside learning institutions often have no access to learning resources at all or to benefit from other students' learning processes. A reasonable way to better exploit these opportunities is through the application of the principles of open participatory learning to existing training courses.

The Web 2.0 offers opportunities for open and inclusive education and to connect with people and resources from around the globe – and this is what we hope to provide you with at the openEd 2.0 course!
