The project openED 2.0 – Designing for participatory learning in open educational environments - brings together stakeholders in formal and informal education from different countries aiming to increase the speed of innovation in education, to ensure continuous provision of up to date and relevant learning materials, and to promote participatory learning, including active learning, creative problem solving, learning by doing, critical thinking and creativity.

To achieve the objectives of the openED project the project consortium adopted, in this website, the principles set forth by open standards and free licences.
